Welcome to www.kyleseverns.com. I have absolutely no reason for creating this website other than an obsessive compulsive fear that at some point I will need this domain name, and realize it is no longer at my disposal. Say what you will, but this is a reasonable fear, and to all you that laugh, I hope your domain name is stolen right before you need it most.

If you are a close personal friend of mine, and would like to add an @kyleseverns.com email, please inquire by writing me at kyle@kyleseverns.com, but please keep in mind, I can only allocate 200 email addresses, and six are already taken, so you might want to hurry. I obviously have more than 200 close personal friends...duh!

Now for a little about me...

Kyle Justin Severns - kyle@kyleseverns.com

• I was born in San Jose, California, at least thats what I've been told. I grew up in Sunnyvale, CA. Believe it or not, Sunnyvale is the center of the universe, we would live in the dark ages without it.
• I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis.
• I currently work as a Sales Engineer for Clipper Controls.  Clipper Controls is a Sales Engineering firm focused on control solutions for industry.   
• I currently hold a valid Engineer In Training certificate issued by the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. I passes this test the first time I took it, unlike Jay, who I believe took his test while intoxicated just to prove a point.
• I am extremely intelligent, good looking, funny and modest. If you don't believe me, just ask me.
• I have a 3 year old basset hound named The Dude.
• I will be attempting to blog.

• John was born in Cleveland, Ohio...for which we will forgive him (it was not a personal choice), and grew up in Eureka, California...for which we will also forgive him (again, not a personal choice).
• John graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Davis,
• John is currently working in his field for Winzler and Kelly Consulting Engineers (He hasn't and will not be fired because his name is in the title, otherwise he would be gone for sure.)
• John currently holds a valid Engineer in Training certificate issued by the Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. He plans to pursue his Professional Engineer certificate in 2008...lets all cross our fingers on that one, he needs it.
• This goes without saying, but John is all that is man...John and I once climbed to the top of the continental United States, as if it were an ant hill...nbd.

Patrick James Maher - pat@kyleseverns.com

• Patrick was born in California, for which he will be celebrated. He grew up in Marin County, which of course means he is a bit on the cocky side, and really thinks he is better than he is. "Did you know...'insert worthless actor here'...is from Marin, no big deal". Thats great Pat...no one cares.
• Patrick graduated with a degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California Davis
• Patrick currently works for Endurance Performance Training Centers. He keeps America in shape, or at least keeps those few Americans that are in incredible shape, in even more incredibler shape. Well done Pat. Might as well throw money at the rich.
• It is a well known fact that Patrick works harder than any other member of the work force. His hours are long (40 hrs/wk), and his work is grueling (he sits at a computer), how he manages to work and attend school, I will never know. Good show old man!
• As a prerequisite of being a friend of mine, pat is also all that is man...I'm pretty sure Pat could ride his bike across the pacific ocean if he felt like it.

Brian Baliwas - brian@kyleseverns.com

• Brian was born in the Philippines. (I made that up, but it's possible) Brian claims he was actually born in San Diego. Regardless, he spent the majority of his youth in Hayward, CA...just slightly better than Oakland.
• Brian graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis.
• Brian has been living in Davis, CA for the better half of a century. As a matter of fact, you could probably ask anyone in Davis who "Bali" is and they will instantly recognize the name and begin reciting urban legends they've heard about the man.
• Within the last year, a little thing called "motivation" kicked Brian in the ass and he has since resumed taking classes in an effort to boost his GPA and gain admission into one of the countries finest dental schools.
• Brian is by no means impressive in stature, but the fact of the matter is, you would not mess with him. He can ruin your existence without any sort of physical effort, his mind is his greatest weapon, and it's a weapon to be reckoned with.
• Brian is the proud owner of a five year old beagle named Shiloh (very creative). Shiloh has frequently been the butt of jokes through his young life for a variety of reasons...much to the dismay of Bali. Bali loves his dog, and I wouldn't be surprised if he neutered you in your sleep for speaking ill of his furry friend. He's done it to a rat, I'm quite sure he could do it to a person.

Brandon Jon Dougherty - brandon@kyleseverns.com

• Brandon was born in Mountain View, CA. He also grew up in Sunnyvale, CA and is therefore an equal that I will forever respect.
• Brandon graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
• After a brief stint as a sleazy cell phone salesman, Brandon packed up shop and moved down to San Diego to embark on a career as an EMT, which will eventually lead to the life of a fireman.
• Brandon has been my closest cronie for close to a decade, so if you badmouth him, you badmouth me. End of story.
• Brandon has the life experience of a 300 year old. If it hasn't happened to you, you should ask Brandon about it...he has done it, and done it well. He is all that is man.

Anthony Lincoln Carnazzo - anthony@kyleseverns.com 

• Anthony was born in Salinas, CA or something of the sort.  It was near water, and farming.
• Anthony graduated with a degree in french fry making [a.k.a. History], from the University of California, Davis.
• Anthony has had a few worthless jobs in his day.  After graduating from college, he continued to work as a waiter and bartender, and eventually moved home to take on a brief career as a field worker.  He picked lettuce...good use of a college degree Twan.  
• Anthony has many interest's.  Most of them relating to family, the environment, and travel.  This is one of the few reasons i respect Twan.
• Anthony is ultimately a useless member of society, but his intentions are good, and he likes to travel the world, so here and there he ends up with some interesting stories.  He has recently returned from a year of travel in Asia.  He taught English in Thailand before bouncing around from country to country.  During his travels he visted, Thailand, South Korea, Bali, China, Greece, Italy, and I'm sure a few more.  He also took a job farming during his travels.  Basically he is making a habit out of it.
